FreeWheel Elevates James Rooke to Chief Revenue Officer

NEW YORK, October 28, 2015 — FreeWheel today announced the promotion of James Rooke to Chief Revenue Officer. In this new role Rooke will lead FreeWheel’s global revenue teams, overseeing Enterprise Solutions, the FourFronts Premium Marketplace and Advisory Services.

The consolidation of three lines of business under a single leader will better position FreeWheel to meet the needs of its global customers as the premium video economy continues to grow, and enable them to successfully leverage the opportunity.

Rooke joined FreeWheel in 2012 tasked with establishing a new Advisory Services practice that provides clients with operational and strategic guidance to help scale their digital video businesses. He since then has been instrumental in the development of the FourFronts Premium Marketplace, which helps publishers manage supply and demand imbalances across desktop, mobile, tablet, OTT devices and set-top-box Video on Demand.

Formerly with Time Warner Cable, where he was part of the media and advertising business, Rooke served as VP, Strategy & Execution as well as General Manager of its digital marketing services business. Rooke has an extensive media consulting background with Ernst & Young in the United Kingdom, and Capgemini in the U.S.
