Last week, FreeWheel was delighted to celebrate and honor our best-in-market Engineering Team during National Engineers Week (Feb. 21 – 27).

Started by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the initiative began in 1951 to coincide with the week of George Washington’s birthday, reportedly because the NSPE considers him our nation’s first engineer. Today, organizations across the country use this week to spotlight the innovations and accomplishments of our engineering communities while emphasizing STEM learning for all students.

We featured three of our brilliant Engineers, Yushi, Cheng and Pratik. Each of these excellent role models gave us a little insight into why they’ve chosen FreeWheel as the place to take on new challenges and grow their careers:

FreeWheel gives me the opportunity to set even bigger goals by giving me the tools and resources to learn and grow.”
Get to know Pratik, Yushi and Cheng in person and apply for one of our many Engineering opportunities! We are always on the lookout for top tech talent, and are eager to fill our open Engineering roles: Lead Big Data Engineer, Golang Developer and Ruby on Rails Developer. Additional details can be found on the FreeWheel careers page.

Below, you will find some highlights from our #EWeek2016 social media campaign. Riffing off one of our core values of being “proudly unique,” we leveraged the results of an employee survey to celebrate the “FreeWheeliness” of our Engineers.
